Meet The Board

Our Story

Harmony Road's mission is to create a culturally diverse, inclusive, all gender, artistic a cappella ensemble that contributes meaningfully to the northern Colorado arts community.

We were founded in January of 2024 by a group of passionate singers who wanted to create something new using the best of what we'd learned through their musical journeys. We had a few key principles in mind from the start:

  • Sing at a high level. This means each singers brings their best voice and their best self, and we combine into an ensemble that brings joy to our audiences

  • Drive individual accountability. This means that the work we do outside of rehearsal in learning our music and improving our voice and performance skill is equally, if not more important, than our work during rehearsal. It is the goal of every member of Harmony Road to arrive at each rehearsal better than they left the previous one.

  • Collaborate! We do not have a single front-line director-- instead we have an engaged Music Team who work together to select music, make artistic choices, and polish our delivery. Also, we have a very involved set of officers who make up our Board of Directors-- they ensure Harmony Road is on a firm organizational and financial footing.

What does this all mean? In our short time together, Harmony Road has already become a mixed a cappella and barbershop chorus dedicated to providing the community with the sweet sounds of four-part harmony. We are a group of talented and passionate singers who come together to create something truly special. We believe in the power of music to bring people together and create meaningful connections. Our performances are a celebration of this belief, and we strive to share our love of music with everyone we meet.

We are also always welcoming new members! Please learn about our audition and membership process.
